Edge conditioning is appropriate for end products that require an absolute burr-free, or rounded, edge. This process is especially appropriate for food service applications and hose clamps. Edges that can be provided per the ASTM standards:
- #3 as slit
- #5 burr-free
- #4 modified
- #1 full round (skiving)
We can provide edges on both pancake coils and oscillate bundles. The #1 round edge can be provided on pancake to pancake coils, pancake to oscillate bundles, oscillate to oscillate bundles, or oscillate to pancake coils.
